Ιnclusion of disabled people through basketball is a Erasmus+ Sports project is co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and it is a cooperation of one coordinator from Cyprus and three partners from Greece, Romania and Serbia. The group was composed of Active Cypriot Programs and European Learning into acceptance (Acpelia), the Asociatia Scout Society (Scout Society) from Romania, the Kosarkaski savez Grada Nisa (Kosarkaski Nisa) from Serbia and the Sports club for disabled athletes «Irodikos» from Greece.
This project has a duration of 18 months and specifically it starts 01.01.2023 and ends on 01.07.2024 at the latest.During the program, the meeting of the parteners took place in Komotini on February 2023 where their program action was presented and the agreement was signed between the countries.Then the cycle of the program will be completed with the so-called "training" which will be held in Komotini to learn how to play wheelchair basketball and the final conference which will be held in each country and will aim to present and spread of the final results of the project.
